Your First Time

Please plan on arriving to class 15 minutes early to park, check-in, and get settled before class. We have a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals.

It is highly recommended that you allow your meals ample time to digest and refrain from eating 30 minutes before class time

We recommend any valuables be left at home. We ask that you remove jewelry (rings, necklaces, dangling earrings) prior to starting class as it may damage the apparatus and/or snag on your body and cause injury to yourself.

Please arrive reasonably clean and free of strong smells of fragrance including lingering perfume, fragrance, and unpleasant body odor.

We recommend that students do not apply body lotions prior to class.

What to Wear

We recommend wearing tight shorts that expose the backs of the knees for beginners and the upper thighs for intermediate/advanced students. Wear a tank top with a sports bra underneath in case you would like to remove the tank top for additional grip. (Exposed skin helps the body grip to the pole) Wearing only undergarment (such as thong underwear) are not considered to be appropriate pole attire.

We recommend wearing tight leggings that cover the backs of the knees as well as a tight fitting top. Exposed skin is susceptible to friction burn from silks, lyras, trapeze, and rope when not properly covered. Certain moves may require short sleeves for armpit coverage.

We recommend any comfortable attire you may wear to the gym or to yoga class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Aerials is “come as you are”! It doesn’t matter if you are a couch potato or a powerlifter, aerials provide a completely new and different sensation for your body and will undoubtably challenge every physique out there.

We recommend if you are completely new to aerials to start in the beginner/intro classes. If you have experience in aerials and are looking to grow in your apparatus training, we do recommend you start again at the beginner level in order to develop the different muscle memory of a specific apparatus. However, upon instructor evaluation you may be qualified to join more advanced classes.

If you are coming in from another city to take classes we ask that you contact the studio (phone, email, Facebook) to get in touch with an instructor who will personally speak with you to recommend which level classes you are best suited for.

It is your responsibility, as a student, to inform the instructor prior to the start of class of any injuries or health issues you may have. The instructor can work with you on any modifications so you have the best experience possible without causing more pain and injury to your body.
We welcome all people regardless of age, gender, or physique. We want to share our love for aerials with as many people as possible. (For students under 18, we require parental permission to attend classes.)

We currently do not offer any youth programs.

We want to build a positive community that is fun and judgement free. We encourage you to talk to your classmates, share apparatuses, and give positive feedback and encouragement when you see them struggle and succeed.
We ask that you are respectful to your classmates and keep your phone on silent during class. If you must take a call or message please quietly excuse yourself from the active teaching area and conduct your call in the lobby.
If you want to take pictures/video during class, please do so in a discreet way that does not interfere with the instructor or other students. Towards the end of class, many instructors dedicate a special picture/video taking time for you to record your accomplishments — we highly recommend you use this time for the best photos!
